Rainbow Beach
Rainbow Beach is an emerging, small coastal community located on an unspoilt sandy shoreline sweeping along the northern side of Double Island Point, and nestled just below the southern tip of World Heritage listed Fraser Island. The township sits on a north-facing beach, 60km north of Noosa Heads along the famous Noosa Northshore and is bounded by the extensive Cooloola National Park to the south.
Rainbow Beach is accessible by car with a two-and-a-half hour drive from Brisbane, or by air with a scenic 25 minute connecting flight from Noosa or a connecting flight from Brisbane or Maroochydore. The town is also easily accessed to the regional centres of Gympie to the west, and Maryborough and Bundaberg to the north.

Property prices in Rainbow Beach vary significantly depending on their proximity to the ocean. New homes in outer areas can be bought for around $500,000 but beachside will range from $800,000 - $1,000,000 plus. Existing homes maybe older but offer closer proximity to the beach for around the same cost. Land prices vary from $300,000 for a non-beachside block to $600,000 plus for beachside and $1,000,000 plus for oceanfront.
